NDF | MOMENTUM 2025
Where Development Finance Meets Action.
MOMENTUM was created as a new global platform for development finance, bringing leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators together around one goal: turning ambition into action.
Context
A first edition with global ambition.
As MOMENTUM launched for the first time, the identity needed to feel credible at international scale from day one — premium and authoritative, without becoming conventional or overly corporate.
My Role
Shaping MOMENTUM from the start.
I worked with the Creative Director to develop MOMENTUM’s initial visual direction and help take the concept through client approval. I designed selected early collaterals and event screens to show how the identity could work across the conference.
Once the direction was approved, a larger team expanded the system and carried it through the full event.
The Idea
Built to move.
The identity combined a structured editorial system with a moving gradient, giving MOMENTUM the confidence of an established institution and the energy of a platform built around progress.

Visual Language
A focused palette in motion.
A reduced colour palette gave the identity clarity, while the master gradient brought those colours together through one fluid expression.

The Event Experience
Taking the identity into the space.
The system expanded from screen to environment, shaping the arrival, navigation, partner presence, and physical experience of the conference.

Communication
One system for every conversation.
The identity supported leadership communication, development topics, speaker content, live sessions, and post-event coverage through one consistent visual language.

The Stage
A visual language built for the room.
The identity scaled across the main stage, keeping information clear before, during, and between sessions.
Motion
The identity in motion.
Motion extended the same visual language into conference themes, transitions, and sector storytelling.
Collaterals
Built into every touchpoint.
The identity extended into the physical materials used across the conference experience.

Reflection
A direction the team could build on.
Working on the early stage of MOMENTUM taught me to think beyond the first approved visual. The direction had to be clear enough for a larger team to build on it consistently across screens, materials, and the event itself.
